Discipline

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. – Hebrews 12:11

Before we become Christians and did not have relationship with God, we are used to do things seem right to the way of the world but against to God’s. When we become Christians, there are times it is hard for us to turn away from these things, it is painful for us. There are some who cannot endure the pain which results to turning away to God and continue on their old ways. But God is telling us, “I discipline you, my son. It is painful but I know you can endure it. Just keep your faith to me, I’ll give you my strength. You can do it, my son. And soon, you will experience the results of this discipline, you will become stronger than before, you will be at peace and you will experience how great is a life with me in you.”
